The 70th anniversary of the founding of the PR of China is an amazing event. It seems that this year, the festivities and decorations are even more pronounced in my city of Xi’an. Chinese New Year and the Spring Festival are especially prominent with regards to the lights, colors and vivid designs. I put together a portfolio of 5 independent photos of my favorite displays near Da Yanta or Big Goose Pagoda. This photo in particular captured the essence of “dancing” lights in front of the Xi’an Concert Hall. What impressed me most is how this section of the city has changed over the past decade.
