The 70th anniversary of the founding of the PR of China is an amazing event. It seems that this year, the festivities and decorations are even more pronounced in my city of Xi’an. Because I was born in the year of the dragon, I am a huge fan of anything with dragons. This sculpture is absolutely magnificent! It is the last photo in my series of 5 independent photos of Spring Festival lights and decorations in Xi’an near Da Yanta or Big Goose Pagoda. I love the way it literally glows and catches your attention. What impressed me most is how this section of the city has changed over the past decade.
