The 70th anniversary of the founding of the PR of China is an amazing event. It seems that this year, the festivities and decorations are even more pronounced in my city of Xi’an. I really love this photo for its colors, shapes and symmetry. It is another one in the series of 5 independent photos of the Spring Festival lights and decorations in Xi’an. This sculpture stands out extremely well against the pitch-black darkness. What impressed me most is how this section of the city has changed over the past decade.
